Join the 40th birthday celebration of Earth Day learning about recycling and living more sustainably at the Minnesota Zoo. The event runs for two days on April 17 and 18th from 9 am – 4 pm.

There are lots of eco-friendly activities for all. Come take a stroll and enjoy the music and craft activities. This is a kid friendly venue at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, MN.

Celebrate Earth Day!

Have you had the opportunity to see the newest movie on food? Food, Inc. is a documentary about where our food comes from. Valley Natural Foods a local food co-op is sponsoring a free showing of the movie starting at 6pm on April 8th, 2010 at The School of Environmental Studies in Apple Vally, MN. A panel of organic farmers will be on hand for a discussion after the show for anyone who would like to attend and ask questions and learn more. So far this movie has only been available at select theatres and educational conferences, this is your chance to see it for FREE. This is a great place to network with likeminded people.
