Just in case you didn’t know September is the official kick off of “the back to business mindset”, similar to back to school it’s time to declare summer is over and September is time to focus on building business. Typically in Minnesota the Tradeshows, expos and Networking event calendars are packed with things to do.

Meetups are a great place to network and meet other business people. Summer is usually the time when most Minnesotans are out enjoying the weather and not thinking too much about business networking. During the summer you’ll notice that there are not that many business expos or tradeshows scheduled. This is no time to be a slacker! Join the 40th birthday celebration of Earth Day learning about recycling and living more sustainably at the Minnesota Zoo. The event runs for two days on April 17 and 18th from 9 am – 4 pm.

There are lots of eco-friendly activities for all. Come take a stroll and enjoy the music and craft activities. This is a kid friendly venue at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, MN.

Celebrate Earth Day!

There are a lot of Networking events going on in the Twin Cities so we have just updated the calendar on Minnesota Networking. Have you had the opportunity to see the newest movie on food? Food, Inc. is a documentary about where our food comes from. Valley Natural Foods a local food co-op is sponsoring a free showing of the movie starting at 6pm on April 8th, 2010 at The School of Environmental Studies in Apple Vally, MN. A panel of organic farmers will be on hand for a discussion after the show for anyone who would like to attend and ask questions and learn more. So far this movie has only been available at select theatres and educational conferences, this is your chance to see it for FREE. This is a great place to network with likeminded people.
